I was raped by my stepfather, and afterwards he intimidated me and said, "Who am I, and who are you? No one will believe you anyway, so don't even try to tell anyone. And if you do — I'll find out and think of how to punish you." Because of his pressure, I stayed silent for 8 years. And all that time, he kept groping and harassing me. I'm very glad I finally decided to tell my mother. She believed me and left him that same day.
