When I used to live in a dorm, our common shower was located in the boys' block of the dorm. The boys always tried to open the doors (sometimes attempts were successful), because of what, for years, I would look at the doors with anxiety; it took years to unlearn that.
One time, a hand appeared through the vent, holding a phone (on the other side, it was a closet), and started filming me 😖. When I saw that, I started splashing water and screaming. I ran out of the shower but didn’t see anyone—the boys locked their doors. I contacted our housemistress, but she replied, “You’ve got a beautiful figure, you have nothing to be embarrassed about.” I still don’t know if that recording still exists and who has it(((
